I got the same issue on my raspberry pi 5 4gb model.
However the power button itself is not doing anything only when it is on i can use it to turn it off but not to turn it back on again.
I had it working few times after bootloader however funny is if i put a sd card in with the bootloader i get the green screen but after 5 seconds the pi switches to red light again with no way to put it back on. put a new sd card ssd or usb in also nothing.
