The error looks like a lack of a response from the card. Given that the card worked in the past, the fault could be something like salt water corrosion (common around here) or some other degradation of the card or reader. If new cards work and old cards fail, you could clean the old card with mentholated spirits or something similar. Slide the card in and out a few times to scrape off grime. Test in adapters and other computers. I generally throw the cards out if they fail twice in different machines.
The reader slot is also sensitive and may be the problem. A contact not quite pressing down the right way to work with all cards. The ultimate test would be to use ten different cards in ten different Pi devices to find out if the problem is the Pi or the card. Expensive. Fortunately for my testing I have some low cost SD/microSD - USB adapters to easily test the card in other devices.
A lot of microSD cards arrive with SD adapters. You could test the card in one of those in another computer or camera. Throw the card out if it fails more than two different tests.
