Troubleshooting • Re: Raspberrypi 5 freeze randomly and verry often

I'm pleased to report that my Raspberry Pi 5 has achieved a reasonable level of stability after I decided to remove my passive cooling case. Although the aluminum case was effective in maintaining lower temperatures, it appears to have been the underlying cause of the system hangs I was experiencing. Consequently, the only remaining issue is the defective USB 3.0 ports.

Given the circumstances, I've resolved to continue using my Raspberry Pi in its current state, accepting the limitations imposed by the non-functional USB 3.0 ports. To compensate for this, I've ordered an NVMe base along with an active cooler. I'm optimistic that these upgrades will mitigate the absence of the USB 3.0 functionality and allow me to fully utilize my device without significant compromise.
My Pi 5 works very well with my Pimoroni NVMe base and the active cooler now. No stability issues anymore.
