Hi Folks,
I'm running my RPI3b with an SSD connected.
For the second time now, it seems that after a reboot, my USB-SATA cable has died.
A simple 'sudo reboot' in a terminal that is.
I am powering my Pi through a POE hat, so i figured.... maybe this indirectly causes the issue?
I wonder what actually causes this? Any experience there?
Replacing the cable (again) made it boot and solved the problem.
Also tried the cable with SSD connected on a laptop... nothing, so confirmation it had died.
Would it be better to use a powered USB-SATA cable instead? I figure that all power now comes through the POE...
