what is 'a 7" Waveshare LCD'? People don't know what you have exactly hence you you Post a link to the product page.I have a Raspberry Pi Zero W2 with a 7" Waveshare LCD. I installed Raspbian 64-bit (bookworm) OS and everything worked fine. The OS is so heavy for the board to run smoothly, so I decided to try the Raspbian 64-bit (bullseye). I downloaded the image, wrote it on an SD card, and turned on the RPi. On the setup window, when I set the county and pressed the next button after about 30 seconds, the screen became black. I tried formatting the SD card and writing the image again, but there is no picture at all on the screen. Even when I put the previous SD card that had the bookworm OS and worked fine before, the screen was black. I can access the desktop using the VNC viewer, but nothing is displayed on the LCD. Even when I plug the HDMI cable, the VNC viewer screen resolution changes to the LCD resolution, but nothing is shown on the LCD.
I am powering the RPi with a 5V 2A switching adapter.
What's the problem? And why does it affect the bookworm OS?
As that seem to be an HDMI display would recommend to test it with another source to see if it is working there.
A zero is not well suited for running a GUI!
