Hello, my friend bought me A Raspberry pi 4 Model B from the USA. My one is 2GB RAM variant. I have no extra monitor or keyboard. I decided to use my laptop screen as the Raspberry pi monitor. I installed the OS from the Official Raspberry Pi website. I connected the power supply that was given in my package. I connected the Raspberry pi to the ethernet PORT of my laptop. But I could not ping my Raspberry pi. Some years ago, I used a Raspberry PI model 3B in the same manner and there was no problem. This time it is not working. Is the method different for different versions? I followed the same method. Is there any tutorial on how to connect a Raspberry pi 4 with laptop? Has anyone done this task successfully here?
