Well, you've done that with ifconfig (but you've hidden some stuff which probably didn't need to be hidden).Hello rpdom,
Check to see if its network interface is up and has been assigned an IP address.
- how would i go about checking this?
Is 8.8.8.8 the DNS server it should be using? What does "cat /etc/resolv.conf" show?Check to see that a DNS server has been assigned. Try pinging it.
- when i ping 8.8.8.8 i don't get any errors
end0 is an unusual name for the wired interface on a Pi. It's usually "eth0". Are you using a different OS to Raspberry Pi OS?-"ifconfig" resultsCode:
end0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
That shouldn't cause a problem though.
