Greetings!
OS: Buster.
I attempted to copy a Bookworm image to my robot's desktop using Real VNC and it bombed with a lack of storage space error.
I then deleted a lot of older artifacts that were taking up space - and then noticed that the desktop's file manager was very slow and/or would hang.
I then opened HTOP as root and saw this: Note that both memory and swap are nearly maxed though the process using the most memory is using very little.
I rebooted the robot and noted the following:
Note here that the same process is using the same amount of memory and HTOP shows the memory and swap at more reasonable values.
Question:
Once the need for memory and swap has been removed, why doesn't the memory and swap usage drop to normal values?
