As Kerry_s says...you shouldn't need to delete the partitions in order to run the imager, However; you should be able to delete all the partitions in gparted should you choose to. Make sure that you unmounted them first. It probably won't allow you to delete a partition that is mounted... And double check that you are deleting the correct partition on the correct physical drive...it is easy to make a mistake.Raspberry Pi Imager: "Error writing to disk".
