Troubleshooting • Re: RPI3B Refuses to connect to WiFi

What is meant by boot medium?
Does it mean all the files in the root directory?
The physical storage device (SD card, USB drive, etc.) you're booting the Pi from.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to proceed. The RPI4, which is running correctly, boots from a 120 GB SSD. I assume a simple clone won't work because it would try to copy the entire 120 GB. So I don't know exactly what I would need to copy from the SSD so that I get a bootable copy.

Alright.
When I connect a USB WiFi stick, the RPI3 connects to the WiFi.
It detects the SSID and obtains an IP address. Everything works as expected.
When I detach the USB Stick, no WiFi.
I'm still not able to understand why the onBoard WiFi won't work.

Is the RPI3 board broken?
I can't use the USB WiFi stick permanently because it is far too big, too old, and too slow.

The goal was to continue using this RPI3 so that I wouldn't have to replace it with a new one.
