the Pi5 sits around 50C and seems to be throttled.
My understanding is the Active Cooler fan starts at 60C, so I adjusted the settings for the fan to spin at 125 (whatever these units mean?) at 45C and turn off at 35C.
I added these lines to /boot/firmware/config.txtI rebooted the Pi5, the Active Cooler fan spun during boot, then turned off, whilst the Pi5 shows a temp of 43C.
In the interim, a mini desk fan is turned on next to the Pi5 (the Pi5 have its top case removed) which drops the Pi5's temp from 50C to 28C in ~5 minutes.
