on Bookworm i've tried (using vlc/mpv):
vc4-fkms-v3d/vc4-kms-v3d
all possible outputs on VLC
x11/wayland
Bookworm 64 and 32 bits, full and standard
all i get is errors, jerky video playback, and half smooth video with lots of tearing (1080p h.264, 30fps)
i have a old pi3b with omxplayer, and it plays 1080p h.264 fast and smooth as butter for years. but i can't do basic playback with newer board/os/software
is there a combination of settings so i can have a basic video playback? or should i test older debian releases? omxplayer does not compile due to old deprecated dependencies.
thanks in advance!
EDIT: i need debian with desktop, so i can't use Kodi, etc.
