It'll be editing ~/.config/wayfire.ini and adding a section similar toI have a Hanspree touchscreen that also reports as this Weida CoolTouch. As above, the identifier it reports with has a load of spaces in, and those are critical in the name.
Then again you're saying you're using xinput, so have you dropped back to X11 instead of Wayfire? If so then please ensure you say so in any future threads as it makes a big difference.
The relevant script for X are normally /usr/share/dispsetup.sh for screen resolution and positioning, and /usr/share/tssetup.sh for touch assignments. I wonder if the bit of Screen Layout that saves those files isn't handling all the spaces of your touch controller correctly.
