I'd be interested to read what you find.My Pi5 is without case for now, but in days I get the official case, so that the problem is the case is excluded.

I ended up with the official plastic case. I'm using the active cooler inside the case. No issues with wireless comms at all. It does run a little bit hotter, but nothing dramatic.
