I used the code: cmd= 'WAYLAND_DISPLAY="wayland-1" wlr-randr --output HDMI-A-2 --on' in a python script in order to exit from screen blanking. It works well but only if I do not use "sudo" to launch the script or if I use Thonny (or an other IDE?). I'm satisfied with the suggestion I read in this post for proceeding with my script but I would understand why, if I use "sudo", I get an error and the screen remains blank? Thanks for the help.
