I have a Raspberry Pi Zero W2 with a 7" Waveshare LCD. I installed Raspbian 64-bit (bookworm) OS and everything worked fine. The OS is so heavy for the board to run smoothly, so I decided to try the Raspbian 64-bit (bullseye). I downloaded the image, wrote it on an SD card, and turned on the RPi. On the setup window, when I set the county and pressed the next button after about 30 seconds, the screen became black. I tried formatting the SD card and writing the image again, but there is no picture at all on the screen. Even when I put the previous SD card that had the bookworm OS and worked fine before, the screen was black. I can access the desktop using the VNC viewer, but nothing is displayed on the LCD. Even when I plug the HDMI cable, the VNC viewer screen resolution changes to the LCD resolution, but nothing is shown on the LCD.
I am powering the RPi with a 5V 2A switching adapter.
What's the problem? And why does it affect the bookworm OS?
