Hello
I have been experiencing issues with, for example, an apparent DNS problem:
This is on a Pi4B using the latest Bookworm and next to no other software.
Prior to trying to load and set up nextcloud, I found that I could not update/upgrade. I got the following response:The same applies to "upgrade" etc.
I can ping neighbours on the network but I can't access, for example, google.com.
I have done the usual "reboot" and rebooting the router without change.
After an amount of searching, I am guessing that this is a "network manager" issue, with which I am not familiar. This has only seemed to crop up with "Bookworm" and without warning on the Raspberry download system that things have changed. Many well respected sites have not also connected the change to Bookworm with issues such as this. Their suggestions are not relevant but seem to be well meaning stabs in the dark!
So... if I use the command:I get the response:
If the above "redline" is indeed the reason for the upgrade failures, how do I get around the issue?
I have another Pi4B running quite happily with bookworm but one asks: "...for how long...?"
I have no proxy server running at the moment but will intend to do so once I can get the "nextcloud" up and running.
Thanks,
HyFy.
