Give us a rough indication of timescales. Does it work with a vanilla Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm install prior to update, and then post update?
TBH the drivers are written for the Raspberry Pi 7" touchscreen, and will be updated to get the best performance out of that.
Vendors who have cloned the approximate behaviour of that display need to verify that their product works with it, and provide alternatives where needed.
You also have no autodetection on Compute Modules, so what dtoverlay commands are you adding to config.txt for this display?
