5. I tried using image-backup tool / scripts
but It's not working correctly - I would like to solve this as it will make smaller
images.

6. I ended up just using the dd command. It worked, however there is now a new issue
namely -

The backup .img file is too big for the new / 2nd SD card.

Details as follows -

Code:

SD-Card-01 (64 GB card)59.5 GB = SD card usage for the SD-card-01 (which has Retro Pie on it)SD-Card-02 (64 GB card) 58.3 GB = SD card capacity for SD-card-02Backup image file size = 59.5 GB =

SD-card-01 Breakdown of file sizes =

Code:

4.2 MB = free space537 MB = bootfs63 GB = rootfs (acutal OS and data)
When taking a look at the partitions and file usage in Linux it shows like this -

11.2 GB = used size
5 GB out of the above 11.GB partition = game rom data

So that would be 6.2 GB for the underlying OS
5.6 GB = OS (This would the RasPiOS - the underlying Debian Linux OS)

7. Would Pi Shrink here ?

If so, once I use Pi Shrik, then burn that image to the 2nd SD card
would it work (as the actual size of the backup is slightly larger than the full
capacity of SD-Card-02) ?

Thanks for the help and advice so-far guys.
I'ts much appreciated
