I have been unable to get 4k60Hz to show up as an option on my Pi5 connected to a Vizio E70 display, through HDMI 2.0
- The cable I am using supports 4k60Hz (not an adapter)
- The TV works at 4k60Hz with other devices
What I have tried:
- Tried forcing 4k60Hz in config.txt & cmdline.txt - Although I have seen that KMS driver will ignore these,, but tried nonetheless.
- Using xrandr and wlr-randr to force the configuration, to no avail.
What I have noticed:
Using wlr-randr outputs the following:Which I think is interesting, as 4k60 is not listed as an option. Digging further, grabbing and decoding the EDID:
Looking through this - I can see that 4k60 is listed - and it appears to be in supported color formats as well.
I am wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, possibly with a fix?
