Hi,
I have a 1 Gbit fiber connection and use rTorrent to download large files from the internet. However, whenever I download at 2 Mbit/sec or higher, my Raspberry Pi becomes very slow and unresponsive, even though CPU usage remains below 10%.
The files are being saved to a NAS on the same network, which has two SSDs in RAID. Both the Raspberry Pi and NAS are connected via a 1 Gbit LAN, and the Raspberry Pi is connected to the NAS via CIFS (SMB).
What could be causing this issue?
