Thanks All, for your prompt replies.

The package is a social network analysis graphing program known as: Allegrograph. https://allegrograph.com/products/allegrograph/

After Further research I confirmed it is an AMD64 software package. Hence incompatible with the native RPI5 ARM64 CPU. My OS is the latest standard Rspberry 5 Debian Bookworm distribution. Everything is updated and upgraded to most current, as of this morning.

I’ve been looking into windows emulators, to run AMD64 programs, even downloaded and attempted installs, but encountered screen warnings that emulators would significantly reduce the existing RPI 5 capability. Haven’t researched this downgraded performance to know if this is what I should do…

The other issue seems to be: the windows emulators all want to reformat my SD card, wiping out my OS and all the mods. nope. Not going to do that, without further investigation..likely I would need a Hat with separate , clean, partitioned SSD drive to accommodate the emulator, and separate additional storage space. Iam in France and these things are hard to come by in the Côte d’Azur.

So still in a Muddle…
