Thanks for the quick reply. I tried, but still get x and y positions of touch swapped.
I booted the Pi 5
Clicked on Preferences, followed by a click on Screen Configuration
That now shows the correct orientation of the monitor on HDMI-2 (rotated)
I Right click on HDMI-2, select Touchscreen and select TSTP MTouch (which is the touchscreen)
I click on Apply and Close (It does not prompt me to reboot)
When I touch the screen it responds, but the cursor position is swapped with x and y reversed: when I touch the right edge, the mouse pointer moves to the bottom, when I touch the top, the mouse pointer shows up on the right edge of the monitor.
When I go back to the Screen Configuration menu, the TSTP MTouch does not have a checkmark.
When I do select it (not using right click but left click on Screens, HDMI-2, TouchScreen and then TSTP MTouch it gets a checkmark,
but when I close the Screen Configuration and re-open it, it is again unchecked, so the setting does not seem to stick.
So I started arandr from the terminal and again selected the TSTP MTouch as touchscreen and clicked apply.
Then in the terminal I see the following warning;
warning: there are multiple devices matching 'TSTP MTouch'
To ensure the correct one is selected, please use the device ID or prefix the device name with 'pointer' or 'keyboard' as appropriate.
That message to me indicates that the right clicking method in this case does not work, as it does not use the ID nor adds a prefix.
How can I fix this?
