) The Pi5 it picky about its monitors, where it works on the Pi4, the Pi5 it may not.
If you take the drive out and run it to the diagnostic screen, you can then read what it is saying about the monitor. It may be a case of overriding the information if you ever want to go back to that monitor or use it as a second screen.
