Troubleshooting • Enabling SSL Certification on Containerized Apache Webserver

Hello,

I just got my first website hosted on a Raspberry Pi 3, which I am very excited about, however I am struggling to get the https (SSL certification worked out). Through Docker I am running Portainer, and through Portainer I created a container for httpd. My domain is hosted through SquareSpace, and I am using CloudFlared for the Domain NameServers.

I was able to create a SSL certificate through the --standalone functionality of Certbot, and I copied that over into the Docker Container for the webserver (apache2). I made sure that the httpd-ssl.conf file is pointing to where the certificate is. However, I am still not able to get my https website to load. Any tips or ways I can trouble shoot this? For some reason, I am having a ton of difficulty installing certbot on httpd container, and I don't know why. Should I install another container just for Certbot/LetsEncrypt to run?

I'm a real noob at all of this, so I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
