1) i assume you are using the "official" supply. if not, suggest you get one.
2) power problems (like the mains going away) can corrupt the SD card.
3) having said that, have you tried with a new card (set up with PI-imager, of course)
4) if you remove the SD card, and power up, you should get the diagnostic display. pay attention to the "display" line, make sure it says EDID=OK.
if not, check your cabling to the HDMI display.
