Hi everyone,
I’m troubleshooting an issue with my Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB model) and could use some advice.
Here’s the situation:
I ruled out any issues with the router since I tested with two different routers (including an ER605 running OpenWRT) that work fine with other devices.
The Raspberry Pi boots up normally, but ifconfig shows eth0 as disconnected.
The RJ45 port on the Pi has a dim green light and a blinking orange light, which makes me suspect the port might be damaged.
However, the Pi works perfectly with a USB Ethernet dongle.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a hardware issue with the RJ45 port, or might it be something else, like a configuration problem I’ve overlooked?
Thanks in advance for your help!
