I bought a Rasp Pi 5 bundle, and the SD card came with it, so it is an official Raspberry Pi SD card.
In Pi imager on Windows, any attempt to write (either flash an OS, or just format in FAT32) results in Pi Imager being stuck for ever at the first stage (preparing ...)
I tried many formatting methods (right click > format in Windows, MiniTool partition Wizard in Windhows, format in Ubuntu), I always fall into endless loops or errors (in Ubuntu: cannot mount / unable to un-mount).
I really don't know what to do now.
How can I force my SD card to revert to the state that it had "out of the box". Did the SD card get corrupt in some way, and do I have a way to recover it ?
