I am back for more help if possible. I have set up my early Pi model B with an OS from May 2020 as that seems to run fairly well and gives me a desktop which I find so much easier than a command prompt.
I want to run a python script from here https://github.com/ZuinigeRijder/SolisC ... /tree/main to show my Solis inverter output on PVOutput.org.
I have a directory /home/pi/solis and in that directory I have 5 files.
They are solis.sh
logging_config.ini
soliscloud_to_pvoutput.cfg
soliscloud_to_pvoutput.py
and crontab.log
soliscloud_to_pvoutput.py has some altered lines from original to get the output to update at 5min intervals to pvoutput.org
But so far the script is refusing to run. I am getting errors in crontab.log and I am in need of assistance now from this forum to try and find why its failing.
