the pi is uniquely named, and I kept default user as pi. I used nmap until the pi's name came up and the IP address was reported, to which I then:
ssh pi@'piname'@ipaddress
The first time I got a message that keygen was incorrect, I used the clear keygen by copying and pasting:
ssh-keygen -f "/home/pi/.ssh/known_hosts" -R "P address"
the next time I ssh to that pi, I get a log in prompt, I type in the pw I typed in for the image write. I DID set up keyboard to be us eng.
I think I answered all the questions. Still stuck.
