since noone answered, maybe because i was too much verbose:
I have a 3.5" monitor connected to HDMI, it is small and has a 320×240 resolution, that is adequate for the size, but it accept also 1080p, 720p, 576i, 480p rescaling all to itst native resolution.
When conencted to the Pi5 the output of the Pi is always a 1080p, so the console characters are too small to be visualized (come as 2x1 pixel !).
I tried to punt in boot/firmware/config the HDMI mode 240p but neither it nor any other one is accepted, always the output is 1080p .
What can i do ?
