Troubleshooting • Motor Problems - Build a Robot Buggy

Hello,

Some of my students are experiencing the same problem with their Build a Robot Buggy Raspberry Pi Projects so I was hoping to get some help here.

The problem is the motors are not behaving as the code tells them to. One example is when they type robby.forward() or robby.right() only one motor turns, but if they type robby.left() or robby.backward() then both motors turn.

If both motors are moving then surely they are ok. So why do people think only 1 motor turns for the forward and right commands?
