Thank you for the responses.
I am using OS version 11.
I have tested both methods: raspi-config and editing /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf - no difference.
Bit more info:
I am using Win32DiskImager, to create an image of an existing SD card, where autologin is enabled.
I then use Raspberry PI Imager, and take that image and to write it onto a new SD card.
We have already deployed many Raspberry PI's with user pi, so I would prefer staying with user pi.
Do I need another program to be able to have autologin on cloned SD cards?
