Troubleshooting • Pi4 plymouth-quit-wait causing slow boot?

It is either plymouth-quit-wait or whatever it is waiting for. There are two alternating messages, one is Job plymouth-qui and the other Job dev-dri-rend. These come right after colord is started. I'm assuming the plymouth-qui is plymouth-quit-wait but I don't know what the dev-dri-rend is. It doesn't show up if I do a ps -e. I see no installed package with those letters.

The computer is a Pi4 2GB with a 3.5 inch monitor. Running bookworm 64bit, X11 and the display drivers for the screen. This worked fine until the latest updates with all the new Wayland and labwc changes. The display and program run fine after it finally boots but it takes over a minute to boot completely.

Code:

pi@hamclock:~ $ sudo systemd-analyze blame1min 12.442s plymouth-quit-wait.service 11.765s NetworkManager-wait-online.service 2.511s e2scrub_reap.service ...
