If it's read-only, you shouldn't be able to write to it at all. However, I have a question about this, is it fixed now?Hi
I felt exactly into the same issue with an external SSD drive formatted with NTFS that couldn't mount on my rpbi5. Thanks for the hint.
Have 2 questions:
- now the drive is mounted read-only. Is it safe to write to it anyway if I need to?
- what will happen when the fix will be permanent, how will I know it is there, should I remove the kernel=kernel8.img from config.txt?
Thank you
