Troubleshooting • Re: rpi 5 boot nvme (not found)

Ok, I reseated it, and re-ran rpi-clone.
It completes fine.
However it still has the same problem. The partitions arent formatted correctly. As soon as you unmount them, they can not be remounted. fdisk & gparted does not recognize the partition's formats.

I re-ran rpi-clone again after "cleaning" all the partitions like the JG's wiki page, and it did the same thing. Completed fine. I can see the data on the drive, then if you unmount it. Bam.. broken.

I can use the drive fine if I make partitions, format, and rsync the data. I think I ll try using the rsync with the same flags and options just for fun.
Have you checked the system log for any errors?

Code:

sudo journalctl -b | grep -i nvme
Also, how do you know that the partitions aren't formatted correctly? What does "sudo sfdisk -l /dev/nvme0n1" say, both before and after you run rpi-clone?
