I googled all day for help, even on this forum, narrowed my search down to the last year and no results. But this solution works.
And it even plays music without a keyboard, mouse and monitor (which is what I wanted to achieve) on startup using Python code
(using VLC, i.e. I used cvlc), supper. I add this to the end of file .config/wayfire.ini
