Hello! I am faced with an issue i seemingly can't solve, I think when i flashed my SD card with the Raspberry Pi imager tool i got this unstable version, or perhaps it was my doing, i don't think It's that because i later discovered sudo rpi-update and didn't do it because of the scary warning, but it seems that somehow i have ended up with raspberrypi 6.1.0-rpi7-rpi-2712 when running uname -a, when installing anything with apt, i get “Newer kernel available The currently running kernel version is 6.1.0-rpi7-rpi-2712 which is not the expected kernel version 6.1.21-v8+. Restarting the system to load the new kernel will not be handled automatically, so you should consider rebooting” i have stripped away the weird formatting, but there will be a picture linked.
When running i get:I have also tried and and they do a whole bunch of stuff but eventually, after a reboot, i get the same unstable version running uname -a.
Any help would be appreciated
I had made a post about this earlier too with an image linked on Reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/c ... ion_error/
When running
Code:
sudo apt install linux-image-6.1.0-rpi7-rpi-v8
Code:
"MAGPi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo apt install linux-image-6.1.0-rpi7-rpi-v8Reading package lists... DoneBuilding dependency tree... DoneReading state information... Donelinux-image-6.1.0-rpi7-rpi-v8 is already the newest version (1:6.1.63-1+rpt1)0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded."
Code:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall raspberrypi-bootloader raspberrypi-kernel
Code:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall raspberrypi-kernel
Any help would be appreciated
