Hi.

Pi 4 4GB,with Pi OS Bookworm 64 bit (No OC)
Argon Neo case (temps look good).
Strontonics 5.1V 3A PSU
SSD to USB3 cable running a 120GB SSD.

I was at the local library with my Pi 4 and had some sort of bad crash and it would not display anything after a reboot. The WIFI is real pain in the location I sit and it won't connect to the local free WIFI so I have to connect the local free WIFI to my phone and then connect the Pi 4 to a hotspot on my phone. It was having trouble even connecting to my phone, it just would not connect at all (this is not a one off occasion, it happened last week also).

So I rebooted the Pi 4 and I had all sorts of issues with display not working / booting to a blank screen. After some more reboots and changing the HDMI port on the Pi 4 I managed to get to a terminal with words to such affect 'failed to start Network-Manger' and I think 'Network Manager wait online'??? After another reboot the Pi 4 seemed non-responsive so I came home, thinking I would have to reimage my drive and start over with Pi OS as the SSD was corrupt.
** I also had a fully working micro sd card of Batocera and even that would not work.**

Anyway I am at home now and the Pi 4 is working like nothing ever happened. I am now worried this will happen again when I go to the library next.

Does anyone know why this happened and can Network-Manager be disabled?

Thanks.
