That's not particularly hot. I can see one of mine running at 48°C in ambient 23°C.It is getting hot(around 53 °C/127°F woth an ambient temperature of 28°C/82°F) even when it is idle.
Yes, there are, and the schematics for all except the first version are not available.Are there different versions of the rpi4b? If yes where can I get the schematics for my particular board?
Parts of the Pi were designed so that different parts could be used depending on availability. So it is common to see unpopulated areas.
I can't comment on your Pi as I don't have one with that board layout to hand.
