@ALL: @rpdom pointed me to 'dpkg --print-architecture' and 'dpkg --print-foreign-architectures'. The first I checked at "https://linux.die.net/man/1/dpkg" but that site is not always up-todate I already learned. Also with dpkg: it doesn't mention options like '--print-foreign-architectures', '--add-architecture' and '--remove-architecture'. With the help of @rpdom I tried other manpages and "https://www.man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/dpkg.1.html" seems more accurate. So now I better understand what you mean with "You can run multi-arch". And I also see that I have more reading to do on this and decide how to go on with my 64 bit RPis with 4 GB or less ... Thanks for sharing this knowledge with me.
