I searched and read some strange interactions between ethernet and HDMI.
Before investigating electrical interactions I just wanted your opinion if I'm doing something wrong, software side.
- I need to have tv ON so my RPI4 detects and negociates a resolution with TV, otherwise the HDMI connection won't be available after.
- I have my RPI4 attached to my router via ethernet cable.
But, if TV is ON and I reboot, ethernet gets disrupted, router ignores Pi, I wont get an IP and Pi connects wireless to the router
If I leave TV OFF then everything works ethernet side of things, router recognizes PI, I get the usual IP, etc. BUT then I have no chance of having HDMI image after.
So I'm stuck. What do you think ? Electrical interferance or anything else.
